We started off with some lovely views of rice fields.
And what rice actually looks like when it's grown, who knew? I certaintly didn't!!!
We then moved on to a temple of some kind, being that this was the part of the tour we hadn't actually wanted to do I can't remember exactly what it was for. But for the sake of the blog I'm going to go with it was the royal family temple. Certainly looked very regal with all the yellow. (Bail's version of regal)
Next up was a stop I was looking forward to as it had been another early start. The coffee and tea stop. Not as weird as it sounds, it was a coffee plantation(?) were they produce the special poo through an animal coffee. But fear not they had plenty of others on offer to.
This is a pineapple, nothing to do with coffee but it was growing there and who's actually ever see a real life pineapple plant?
Now to the coffee, the animal who eats it kinda looks likes an overgrown meerkat, I say this as the picture is not very clear. He was a little camera shy.
And it come out like this...
I did sample a coffee bean after they'd cleaned it!!
Now onto the tasting, but we did have a little friend with us under the seat. (Just for you Clarke)
We tried lemongrass, mangosteen, lemon and turmeric tea and then coconut, vanilla and ginseng coffee. Most we're pretty tasty, wouldn't be recommending turmeric tea though even if it is good for weightless, this we were told by the guy serving.
A few more rice fields were next on the agenda after a few purchases were made at the shop.
Finale stop was the Ulu Danu temple, I pretty popular google image when you type in bali.
My pictures were a little more cloudy than googles though.
Even went a little crazy and took a picture from the other side, google hasnt done that one yet!! I might have also found the different filters my camera has to offer so this one is not quite as I saw it.
But that's pretty much are tour done after that, a little snooze and snacking later and we were back in Ubud to enjoy the rest of our time there.
