First things first I woke up and opened my pressie and cards. (Not a morning person as you can tell)
And played with my balloons, which Nikki had got up at 5am to blow up in the loo.
The day got instantly better when breakfast was serve on the iPad.
Brownies for breakfast wooooo.
We slowing packed and up moved the 5 minutes down the road to the much nicer birthday treat hotel. And yes I packed up my balloons and took them too, just a few funny looks.
This place was lush, so posh that we even got our own slippers.
We did find one problem though...
The bathroom was very open planned, about 2 mins later we realise there was a blind.
We had a little chill time and then headed off for a stressful afternoon of manicures and pedicures.
Would like to add a special thanks to my auntie pam and uncle dave, whose birthday money paid for my pampering (as well as some of my dinner, but that's later on). Thanks so much.
The finished product, which is still going strong over a week later.
After a busy afternoon, we chilled in the hotel in the cosiest beds ever. Something about having a crisp white duvet, makes me miss my bed so much. We then started getting ready to head out for the evening.
To a firm favourite of ours.
Safe to say we had eyes bigger than stomachs as per usual and were soon feeling a bit full.
We soon recovered but not enough for desert. Being that i started the day with brownie possibly not a bad thing.
I had a really good day, like to say thanks for all the cards paper and online, emails and general birthday messages from everyone (I especially loved my skype session wth Sir Charles, although not sure if he knew what was happening as my mum picked him up lion king style towards to the camera). It definitely took the edge of turning 25.
