The weather was not with us at all, of the two days we were there the weather was meant to be rain rain and more rain. But we manage to squeeze in a few sights before the downpours. We started in little India, our stomping ground for our short stay.
We moved on to some more famous sights after.
We then headed to a favourite area of ours Chinatown, but met this little guy on the way.
We headed to get our cultural fix in the Chinese heritage centre.
It's a really beautiful museum which tell at he story of the Chinese immigration to Singapore. Scenes have been recreated to show you they lived, using as many authentic items as possible.
After all that culture we needed to refuel,
By this time our luck had run out with the weather and the heavens opened. So we headed to a place out of the rain, orchard road. To those of you not in the know, shopping heaven, there's is about 20+ shopping malls so we were occupied for a while.
We were doing so well till we saw this..
One bag containing a new jumper later and we were headed back to our hostel for a snooze. But fear not we headed out later for another wander through the night markets.
And we found these tasty guys, crispy crepes. Safe to say they were very good.
We them headed to have little wander round the raffles hotel. I love this place and I've only ever been in the bar area and courtyard. One day I will get to stay here, and it will be such a good day.
