Koh Phi Phi

So we've been a couple of days in phi phi and loving it. We went on a boat tour yesterday round the whole island. It was a bit rough to start with by that's was probably more to do with the late night before. But the views were stunning.

First stop was a snorkeling dip, this was amazing I've never snorkled in such clear water and the fish were so pretty (such a girl thing to say). Sad to say I'm not 100% confident in taking my waterproof camera in the water so no pics yet. One day soon I will be taking you guys on underwater adventures with me, promise!

We then headed on to phi phi lei which is a national park and below phi phi island. It's where the film 'the beach' was filmed so I've actually been in the same sea as Leo, as well as all the other tourists since 1995, still doesn't take the excitement of it away!!

The one of the right was our ride for the day.

We went to so many bays, beaches and caves it was all beautiful. Except monkey island, yes a beach with lots of monkeys on. Horrible!

And Malay beach where it was actually filmed.

Did manage to do some more snorkelling later on in the day and got this keeper of a picture.

It was a really epic day and for all of those reading this now and feeling jealous I can tell you we got typically sunburnt the way only the British can, so we're confined to our hostel room today. On the plus side this meant I've finally worked out how to get my photos from camera to iPad, this post would have been pretty boring without them.
