Adopt a dog?

A bit of a grey looking Saturday here is brisbane so we headed off to a RSPCA adopt a dog event to cheer us up. Safe to say it worked and was brimming with lots of happy faces all wanting new homes. Good job I'm half way round the world as I could have happily given a few of these chaps a home.

Didn't feel the need to oblige this fella though.

Not sure what breed this guy was, shaking like a leaf though. Reminded me of a certain four legged friend I have at home.

Certainly got a dog fix for today and by the time we'd left over 65 dogs had been adopted. Such a fabulous idea but might not be allowed to go to one of these at home without leaving empty handed.... Any thoughts mum?!?
