Airlie beach

A nice 4 hour journey from Townsville to our new destination Airlie beach. It's a pretty small town with not a huge amount to do, but we're here as this is where all th boat journeys for the Whitsunday tours go from. So a couple of days to chill out and catch a few rays.

It's a beach side town and we've got waterfront views from our backpackers.

Well just about, it's there behind the trees.

The whole area is stunning and we had a little walk on the boardwalk and found the marina.

It was a real chilled couple of days and mostly consisted of sun and food, added bonus as my brain is still not fully functioning after ours last couple of tours so I'm gonna finish here with the promise of the next post being a lot better.
