Fraser: the last day

After another night camping we woke up nice and refreshed.... If only!! But it was our last day so the thoughts of being clean and showering were a lot closer.

Back to the last day, we jumped into a new car to give some of the other guys a chance to drive and ended up be driven around by Daz the tour guide. Think we got a pretty good deal here, specially after seeing what we had to drive over.

The first and only stop we had was Lake Mackenzie.

It was beautiful although still a bit chilly (it is winter and we had clouds as you'll see) but we were resolved to actually get in a lake instead of just paddle in our shorts. It was icy to say the least.

But I was the first out of our little group to get it, and that took a while.

The girls were a tad slower..

Someone was getting chilly waiting!

Being photo bombed by a crazy arm here.

Finally the girls were in too.

Before we knew it our time was up and we had to head off, not before seeing a kookaburra. Keep looking you'll see him.

Bit of a bumpy ride, even my anti blue was struggling on this car ride.

The end of the day was filled with group pictures before we headed back on the ferry.

So there we have it 3 fun filled days in Fraser Island.
