Brisbane

Our next stop on the tour is brisbane. We plan to be here a while but no fear we've been up to plenty of fun things so far, so the blogs will keep coming. Just thought I'd give you a few snaps on the place I shall be calling home for the next months.

The roof top view from our first hostel we stayed in.

And the city by night.

I do officially love this city (not enough to move/stay here so don't worry mum), it's been a while since we've been in one, Singapore being the last one. It's feels a lot like being at home just a lot warmer!!

Noosa Everglades

The Everglades- only two in the entire world and luckily for us noosa is one of those places. So we jumped on a boat tour and set off to explore.

Met a few cool guys on the way.

We stopped for a little tea break

And then got on with the canoeing down the Everglades, we did have the lure of lunch to get us there.

Our first crash into the bank...

And the second.

We made it!!

Just in time for lunch.

As much as the 3 of us loved the canoe and crashing into things, we decided to cruise in the boat for the way back. Got some stunning photos so it was fully justifiable I feel. And for once it being cloudy and cold worked in our favour because the reflections were perfect. Be prepaired for lots of picture guys..

Aww so pretty, all unedited too. I can only dream of what shots I could have got with my 'proper' camera. Still I don't think the above were too shabby.

Happy birthday willy

Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear willy, happy birthday to you!!

Can't believe your turning 31 (you old fart) and I'm not there to celebrate. No will constantly remind you that you're getting on and you'll get all the cakes to yourself for once. Jokes aside I am pretty gutted to be missing out of this one, being half way round the world does have it's disadvantages. So to make up for my poor attendance this year, thought I'd open the old photo album and share some delights.

The past year has been a pretty epic one for you, bringing the little man aka James into the world. You've been a trouper through nappies, teething, general public squeaking and now crawling. Personally I think you're a saint for getting through it and I can't wait to see what delights he will be bringing for the next year!!

We may not see eye to eye some of the time but you've been my longest friend and I'm missing you terribly. I'm so thankful for skype so we can gossip as usual.

I hope you have a wonderful day and get spoilt like you deserve. Happy birthday Willy!!!!
